Travelling by bicycle is not only fun, it's also environmentally-friendly. Vélib, which means “vélo libre” or “vélo liberté” - ‘free bicycle’ or ‘bicycle freedom’) is a great way to explore. St. Chappelle and The Conciergerie |

As you know Chez Claude is across the river from these two famous landmarks. Sainte Chappelle was built by Louis IX in the 13th Century, and features truly spectacular stained glass windows. The Conciergerie was the first palace of the French kings. It has also been the prison of Marie Antoinette. Today you can take a tour to enjoy the stunning gothic architecture. |

The famous cathedral is just 300 meters from Chez Claude. It's considered to be one the finest examples of French gothic architecture. Make sure that you stand at 'Point Zéro', situated in the square in front of the cathedral. This is where all distances in paris are measured from. |
